UNIQUE CHRIST

  • by

Here in is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4:10

Need, inner sensation, the search for the spiritual has always been present in man. There are no people on earth who would not worship any higher powers: idols, planets, trees, animals, etc. This, in essence, is the mass idolatry of people who have been taken away from God. This proves that man cannot exist without God.

People spent many years searching for God. Yogis, philosophers, sages, ascetics, in ascetic efforts worked mentally, spiritually, psychophysically, trying to rise and get closer to God in their quest. Many great sages, in the end, were aware of their ignorance, Socrates once very honestly expressed this: “I know that I know nothing”.

Jesus Christ comes from a simple village where He led the life of an ordinary person. He did not study at the feet of the great teachers of that time. Everything was ready in Him. He did not rise anywhere; on the contrary, He descended to the people. Before Jesus Christ,
nthere were many prophets in the world. The prophets were in Israel, and were in other nations. Among all the prophets of the earth, only Jesus Christ spoke on his behalf, as on behalf of God: “And I tell you …”, “I and the Father are one …”. This is the only case in history when God reveals Himself to people through a specific person in absolute fullness.

Every religion in the world is a part of culture. They grow with the impulse of the human spirit to eternity, to enduring values. This is a search for God. This is a search for the right path, some kind of guess about God. These are people’s hands stretched from earth to sky. The appearance of Jesus Christ is the answer. This is a hand extended by God from heaven to earth. The uniqueness of Christianity is because Christ is unique and He has no competitors: He was given all power in heaven and on earth.

Today, the Risen Christ lives in the soul of every Christian, because Christianity is not a new set of social rules, but a new life with Christ. The Church of Christ therefore exists and develops, because He stands within it.

CHRIST IS RISEN! HE IS RISEN INDEED!
